Fund Raising Matters:

Could be that you have not yet received your set of twenty Rotary Raffle tickets, so please ask President Steven for your packet. Our Club's joint venture with North Adams will give the purchaser of the winner ticket several choices: An '04 Victory Vegas Motorcycle; A Yamaha RX1 Snowmobile; or, Cash (50% of the raffle's proceeds). Prices for raffle tickets are $20 /1 ticket or $200 / 12 tickets, the proceeds from which will benefit both communities. Drawing for the winning ticket happens on August 25.

Rotary International Matters

RI President Glenn Estess will be in Maine for two meetings:
July 23 in Portland at noon, for an Intercity RI meeting.

RI Update by Fred - Our 75th Anniversary Dinner Speaker Gives an Award.
In a summary of District 7170's Conference held this week was the following:
"... the presentation of the First Annual Bill Cadwallader Service Above Self award was made to Mike Jerome, GSE Team Leader, after which he and all his team were made Paul Harris Fellows ..."
As most of you remember, Dr Cadwallader was the story teller and speaker at our 75th Anniversary Dinner on November 26, 2002. Some may remember that he returned a portion of his reimbursement of expenses money with the provision that it be divided between those that had not contributed to TRF and that the full amount be sent to TRF but itemized to each. That is the only year we have had 100% contributions to The Rotary Foundation.

Assignments are mostly repeats from '03-'04, principally because the success rate was high. If you swap tasks/change assignments, would you please e-mail me your changes for updating the organizational chart?

A Good Succession Plan.
Rich assembled a strong bench and passed the gavel
to his talented successor, Steven, for the 2004-2005 RI Centennial Year.
